I never realized that Mark Twain could write such an interesting discourse about a young French woman who was asked to do a job, completed the task and then was considered a heretic. Certainly a different flavor than Huckleberry Finn and Becky Thacker!
A great read and a wonderful Saint.
Read on my after book was recommended to me. I have heard of Joan of Arc for 60 years. I never realized how many challenges she faced in her short life.
